Full Description

A decorative tile works was located in Bargate Road and was in production in the late 19th century. (1) Derby Tile Works (Decorative) situated on Bargate Road on the 2nd edition 25" Ordnance Survey map of c. 1900, not shown on the 1st edition 25" Ordnance Survey map of c. 1880. (2) The 3rd edition 25" Ordnance Survey map shows the tile works had been demolished and a row of houses built on the site. (3)
