SK 080 670: Parkhouse Hill, Bronze Axe: A bronze axe of Bronze Age date 'found at foot of the ('Parkers') hill', Earl Sterndale, in 1888, is thought to have come from the Parkhouse Hill area. Held at Buxton Museum. (1-2) Looped and socketed bronze axe found at Parkers hill, Earl Sterndale in 1888. Parkers Hill may be Parkhouse Hill. The accompanying label reads "found at the foot of the hill". (3)
