Full Description

A house and attached blacksmith's workshop. The property dates to the 18th or 19th century, shown on an early Victorian parish map. It is built of red brick, partly rendered, beneath a gabled concrete pantile roof. The front elevation is two storeys tall. There is an offset gabled porch flanked by elongated window openings with segmental heads. There is a single-storey gabled wing to the rear. The building is unlikely to date to before c.1700 (the "brick threshold"). (1)
