Full Description

A farmstead, built in the 18th or 19th century, shown on an early Victorian parish map. The farmhouse is H-shaped in plan and the front elevation is two storeys tall. The main range and the left hand cross wing are of red brick. The right hand cross wing is of coursed dressed stone. It features a paired sash beneath a segmental head. There are contemporary farm buildings to the rear, in residential use. The farmstead is unlikely to date to before c.1700 (the "brick threshold"). (1)
