Full Description

A house, built in 1899. It was designed by Henry Tatham Sudbury for the lace manufacturer George Maltby JP. The house is built of red brick beneath a plain tile roof. The rear elevation addresses the street; it is two and a half storeys tall. To the right, there is a projecting gabled wing containing a large Venetian window. To the left, there is a tented porch and irregular fenestration. There is a large sloping dormer above. (1)
