Full Description

SK 098 697: Horseshoe Dale, Quarry: Small quarry workings used for limestone walling within the parish of Chelmorton. Road making material was also extracted. (1) The quarry recorded on the map for this feature is presumably the quarry which is being referred to. However, this is not certain. (3)
