Full Description

Two pieces of flint were found while laying a patio at Riverside House, Calver Road, Baslow. One was identified as a notched blade of translucent flint, with retouch, the other as a cortical flake with retouch and some recortication. Both are possibly from the early Neolithic period. The flints have been retained by the finder. (1)
