Full Description

A house, built in 1908. Designed by Albert Edward Lambert in the Arts & Crafts style, for Enoch Wallis JP. The house is faced in roughcast render beneath a graduated slate roof. The garden elevation is of two storeys, raised above a basement; it is set beneath two large assymetrical gables. Enoch Wallis JP was a partner at William Wallis & Sons, lace manufacturers, of Britannia Mills. He was the chairman of Long Eaton Urban District Council in 1912. (1)
