Full Description
                        A public house, built in the late eighteenth century to serve the Trent Navigation (opened 1783).  It is faced in smooth render beneath a gabled slate roof.  The front elevation is of two storeys.  The first floor has four sash windows, set beneath a dentillated eaves course.  (1)
