Full Description

An old limekiln is situated towards the southern boundary of this field on the 1st edition 25" OS map of c. 1880. An old lead shaft is situated further to the north on the 2nd edition 25" OS map of c. 1900. (1-2) Despite not being labelled on modern OS mapping, two fairly circular earthworks are visible on modern aerial photographs. (3-5)
