Full Description
Modern movement department store, built 1938-39 & 1948-50 (war curtailed work for a decade). 4 storeys; curved at corners; horizontal, continuous metal windows along each upper storey. Modernised shop front. Stone facing on ground floor level and brick facing on upper floors. (1)
