Full Description

Former Lead Mine, included in the list of High Priority Lead Mining sites, mainly for its ecological interest in an area of intermittently surviving hillocks. (1) Intermittent lead mining following a vein branching from White Rake/Seedlow Rake (see SMR 6401) to the south. Mining pre-dates 1847. (2)
