Type and Period (1)

Protected Status/Designation

Full Description

Earthworks visible on Google Maps aerial photographs appear to represent a braided hollow way. It presumably joins up with the braided hollow way identified to the west during a Peak Park Farm Survey [see SMR 31681]; together forming part of the main traditional route through the valley, from Buxton to Macclesfield to Bollington.
