Full Description
Cropmarks of later prehistoric/Roman date were identified and plotted at this location during an aerial photographic mapping survey, which was carried out as part of an Aggregates Resource Project. Cropmarks include round barrows, ditches, and curvilinear and rectilinear enclosures. Medieval ridge and furrow was also identified as cropmarks and earthworks in the southern-most field as part of the same survey. (1)
