The 2nd edition 25" Ordnance Survey map of c. 1900 shows a quarry located north of the Cork Stone on Stanton Moor. (1) The 3rd edition 25" Ordnance Survey map of the early 20th century labels the quarry as Old. (2) Modern maps shows extant earthworks. (3)
