Full Description

A small quarry is shown off Pilhough Road on the 1st edition 25" Ordnance Survey map of c. 1880. (1) The quarry is just shown as a depression in the ground on the 2nd edition 25" Ordnance Survey map of c. 1900. (2) Modern maps still show extant earthworks. (3)
