Full Description

Oval lime kiln with adjacent limestone quarry. The walls remain up to 1.1m high, and are 1m thick, with interior dimensions of approx. 2.8m x 1.8m. (1). The kiln is mainly grass grown, but some of the structural stone is visible. The furnace chamber is partly filled-in, and the draw tunnel has collapsed (2).
