Full Description

it is suggested Robert Eyre (written evidence) surrounded the park with a wall sometime after 1499 and fishponds were reported to have been seen at the start of the 20th century. Later documents include the names 'Buck Car' and 'Doe Croft' for neighbouring fields, suggesting prolonged deer management. (1)
