Full Description
Sited where the single lines to Hadfield and Glossop diverge, this station, originally opened in 1844, has some interesting red brick gabled buildings dating from the 1880s with distinctive barge boards. Some of these buildings are now used for housing [2004]. Only one platform is required for each line nowadays and the others are disused. (1)
