Full Description

A large group of WWII air raid shelters in Sawley, identified using aerial photographs from August 1945. The shelters are positioned in the middle of the streets of what was once known as New Sawley [on the 3rd edition 25" OS map]. (1, 2) The shelters are no longer extant [2015]. (3)
