Full Description

SK1442 6301: PARSLEY HAY, FLINT AXE. Mr J. F. Kirkham, the farmer of Vincent house has in his possession a Neolithic/Bronze Age flint chipped and polished axe, 3" by 1½" ((o)), which he found at approximately SK 14426301 when hoeing turnips in 1962. He has also a few flakes of a translucent grey flint, found at various times and places on his farm. (1)
