Full Description
SK 1479 6185. Casking Low near Hartington, listed as a barrow. (1). There is no evidence of a barrow at the hill summit. (2). The only feature here is a somewhat amorphous natural knoll which has been disturbed by small scale quarrying and is crossed by drystone walls. Bateman probably postulated a barrow here on place name evidence only. (3).
