Full Description

Pair of precast concrete gateposts set 2.8m apart. They are 1.2m in height and measure 20cm x 20cm. Metal bolts for hinge pintles and fixings are still in-situ. Damage to the east post has exposed internal metal reinforcing bars. The gate would have controlled the movement of rolling stock and restricted access on to the railway. (1)
