Full Description

SK 457 765. The name Brick Kiln Close appears on the Barlborough Tithe map of 1839 in a field adjacent to Beighton Fields Priory. This brick kiln, as with that marked at SK 457 775 in 1883, may be related to the extensive industrial landscape west of Barlborough and thus have a high group value. There is no indication of any surviving structures and the field is under arable cultivation. (1)
