Full Description

SK 467 763. This colliery appears on the Ordnance Survey maps of 1840 and 1883. Nothing survives above ground; the surface buildings must have been well cleared as the ground is now under arable cultivation. This site is part of an extensive industrial landscape, and the group value is potentially high. (1)
