Full Description

Prehistoric, Roman, Saxon, Norman and medieval pottery and tile fragments were found during excavations of outlying Priory buildings in 1912. The Roman finds consisted of a piece of pseudo-Samian and parts of tiles. The finds were formerly kept at the Priory. The tiles have since been built in to a wall at Repton School Musuem. The location of the pottery is unknown. (1)
