Full Description
Erected 1877 and officially known as ‘Prospect House, Hydropathic Institution, Boarding House’, the house was a rather austere example of mid-Victorian architecture. Its name was changed to Ambervale 1918 when it was purchased by the Ambervale Hydro Limited. Ambervale once purchased a croquet lawn, situated opposite the building. (1)
