Monument record MDR14975 - Ridge and furrow earthworks, Hazelbarrow Farm

Type and Period (1)

Protected Status/Designation

  • None recorded

Full Description

Slight reverse-S shape to the ridge and furrow suggests medieval origin. Fields appear to be cut by a modern field boundary. Traces of a different ridge and furrow system appears to run parallel with the headland, showing both the later imposition of boundary features and multiple, but consistant phases of agriculture.
