Full Description

Blast furnace ash, slag or waste tip with shallow basin (this could however be a canal basin). Site is pocketed with a highly undulating ground surface with associated mounds and hollows. Much evidence of burning stretching away to the south. This includes numerous plug shaped blocks of slag. (1)
