Full Description

Outside the garden wall, west of the stables, is a mound up to 2.5m above the ground surface. Glass and pottery fragements of 20th century and Victorian tile have been found on the surface. A cut was made on the mound revealling an unstratified mix of 19th and 20th century pottery, bottles, floor tiles and late brick. Below was a 10cm-30cm horizon of building rubble. (1)
