Full Description

Earthworks in field along stream possibly suggesting the site of a bloomery. Quantities of slag visible in mole hills has also been noted. Earthworks appear to be post medieval. Some excavation work has revealed ditches, stone foundation walls and quatities of iron slag. (1)
