Full Description
Well preserved white coal pit or q-pit situated on the slope above the watercourse. The site is represented by a sub-circular depression circa 4m in diameter and 0.75m deep, terraced into the slope. A shallow channel leaves south side of the site. There may be similar, but less-well defined features in the area, partly obscured by the dense holly scrub. (1)
