Full Description

SK 1167 6470 : WAGGON LOW, ?ROUND BARROW This possible barrow comprises traces of a ruin, with the interior removed by shallow stone quarrying. It is far from clear if it is a barrow or a natural knoll. It may be the site of excavations by T. Bateman on 25th to 28th June 1852 but this is uncertain - see SMR 6832-33. (1)
