Full Description

Wall (originally a bridge) on the junction of Crow Lane and Hundall Lane. There is a date stone on south side (facing the fields) of the wall, which is now [1994] difficult to read. 'Erected ?1841. William Rhodes. William Gill. Surveyors of the Highway. Work while it is day and do good: For the night cometh when no man can work.' The date stone is set in to a wall and there are no similar stones in the area. It needs re-engraving. Record compiled 15/11/1994. (1)
