Full Description

Neolithic stone axe on display at Hartington Signal Box Information Centre. Found on the southern section of the trail by L. Cooper in 1969. The material used to cover the trail was brought from Ben Bennetts quarry at Grangemill. The axe, 7½ inches by 2 7/8 inches is of Graig Llwyd Stone, from Penmaenwawr. (1). Photographic record. (3).
