Full Description

First mentioned in 1817 by John Farey where 'neat white painted rails' are listed to be 'extremley pleasant and useful to the inhabitants' along the public road. Post and rail fence replaced by DCC Highways acting for the Department of Transport. Now low oak rail marks the course of the railing. (1)
