Full Description

T-shaped lee built to protect livestock and facilitate seperating individual animals. Built in the 19th century after a boundary it overlies was removed sometime bertween 1819 and 1841. (1) An extant 19th century bield north of Dirtlow Rake, Castleton. The site is in an isolated location. All the traditional buildings remain extant. (2, 3, 4, 5)
