Full Description

Terraced trackway running along Alport Dale to give access to Alport Farm (see SMR 8299). It is also revetted either side of a field barn to the west (see SMR). Along the majority of its eastern edge is a grown-out hedge. It overlies the earlier hollow-way (see SMR 8298), and was built in the late 1830s. This is later than most of the enclosures in the valley, which were in place by 1627. (1)
