Full Description

Stone-built field barn of coursed gritstone bricks, with lean-to attached to rear. It is set within a walled yard and there is a stone trough fed by a spring set in the northern wall of the yard. A building was standing on the site of the current barn from as early as 1627, and the floor plan was unchanged until after 1880, suggesting that the present building is a later rebuild. (1)
