Full Description
This rake runs across the western part of the farm, fading to the east, but continuing acorss ajoining property. There are extensive wasteheaps which have only suffered from minimal subsequent removal of secondary mineral. There are indications of a large number of blocked shafts and opencast hollows in the vein. In the eastern half of the portion of the rake on the farm there are also 5 open shafts, one capped with stone, the other with rotting timbers. (1)
