Full Description
Area of lead mining which remains in mostly good condition, with the two southern shafts first shown on map of 1880. There is a 1m high waste heap to the east next to a shaft covered with rubble and metal sheeting. The remains to the west are ploughed over, possibly subsequent to reworking, with the exception of a 2m high hillock with a rubble-filled shaft in the centre. To the north are further lead-working remains of a reworked or ploughed-out vein. (1)
