Full Description
In 1867, the buildings of the Dronfield Grammar School at the corner of Green Lane and Chesterfield Road replaced the old Grammar school in Church Street endowed by Henry Fanshawe. The new school consisted of accomodation for boarders and the headmaster plus two classrooms. The Dronfield Henry Fanshawe School has now expanded to fill the land, which is part of the original bequest. (1)
