Full Description

The high walls that run along the junction of Green Lane with Callywhite Lane formerly surrounded the now demolished Cliffe House, an early Victorian property overlooking Callywhite Lane. Once the home of Dr. Samuel Rooth, a general practitioner, it was later occupied of Miss Charlotte Ward. The house has now been rebuilt as a nursing home [2009]. (1)
