Full Description

Alderman Graves, the Sheffield industrialist, donated this land in 1934 for recreational use. It had been the site of the fairground, which was part of the Dronfield Feast, held each June. Congregations of the Church and Chapels processed to the park and hymns were sung along the route. (1)
