A desk-based survey and analysis of aerial photographs considered the extent of medieval ridge and furrow within Derbyshire Dales district. A group stretching from Wigber Low to Kniveton village was identified, though they may not all be connected. (1) Reviewed (2026), Ridge and furrow still visible using LiDAR but some fields in poor condition.
