Full Description
Looking left from the road to the Peak Gateway Caravan Park a large building can be seen in the field. This area was the site of the former Instructional Site associated with the former Ashbourne Airfield [SMR 333]. The extant building is the former Gunnery and Crew Procedure building. Also on this site would have been the Link Trainers and A.M. Bombing and Gunnery Trainers, as well as other support buildings, all geared towards the ground training required to complete the courses.
