Full Description
The site of the World War Two Royal Air Force Site Number 6 associated with the nearby Ashbourne Airfield [SMR 333] is situated in the trees on the right of the road heading to Osmaston; a short distance from the Instructional Site [SMR 24008]. This site contained the living quarters for officers and airmen in the form of Nissen or Maycrete-type huts. (1)
