Full Description

The flint dagger was found in September 2001 after the field had been ploughed and resown with grass. As this was an exceptional and rare find, it was fully recorded together with other newly discovered material found nearby. A small end scraper was found close by and possibly associated with the dagger and later a possible burin was also located near to the find spot. Other prehistoric material has been recorded in the area. (1)
