Medieval Lynchets and evidence of Post-Medieval mining located north of Middleton and east of Willowdene Farm as part of the disused Stitchen Mine. The area is predominantly mined for lead. The mining activity is predominantly characterised by a series of roughly circular spoil heaps associated with mine shafts. The medieval lynchets are aligned north to south. The features were first identified during a LiDAR survey which was carried out in 2015. (1)
