Full Description
Evidence for Post-Medieval mining located east of Middleton. The area is predominantly mined for lead. The mining activity is predominantly characterised by a series of roughly circular spoil heaps associated with mine shafts.The features were first identified during a LiDAR survey which was carried out in 2015.
